All I have to say to the Twisted Flower is, “neener.”
The first sock, it is done. Gee, that only took forever. Apparently things were going too smoothly, because the sock threw me a curve ball. I’ve been knitting these using the Magic Loop method and managed to stop paying attention to where the beginning of the round was sometime after the first pattern repeat. I had to undo, stitch by stitch, twenty some odd rounds of twisted stitches and lace because I had no idea where I had gone wrong. But once I figured it out, there was no stopping me. I cruised through the heel and on down the foot.
So, take that, Twisted Flower. You will not beat me. I suppose I shouldn’t get too confident…I still have the second sock to finish.

Good for you Wendie! It looks great!
